Sometimes I got up and walked in the dark. When the place was so dark; and you’d gone to sleep and I was awake. It was like being dead and being alive at the same time, you know. It is sort of half-way thing, when the people who are alive are dreaming and the dead are where they are. And I am here, in the dark and quiet.
